  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

  2. Click. then Settings.
  3. Click Privacy and Security.
  4. Click Site settings.
  5. Click JavaScript.
  6. Select Sites can use Javascript.

Job Description:

  • Proficient (10+ years' experience) in working with the business team to identify the requirements and provide a right design leveraging the Alation's custom attributes, templates, people sets, object sets permissions etc.
  • Create mapping specification document that explains the source to target mappings.
  • Hands-on experience in connecting to various sources like SQL server, Oracle etc.
  • Hands-on experience in connecting with Azure sources (ADF, ADLS etc.)
  • Hands-on experience in connecting Alation with other systems like Salesforce, Peoplesoft etc.
  • Download & setup the Alation OCF connector, test the connector and productionize it
  • Migration of data sources when the customer migrates from native connectors to OCF connectors.
  • Work with Business units and Setup templates, align with their needs and setup layouts.
  • Configure QLI for various sources.
  • Identify the needs for Document HUB. Demonstrate and setup Document HUB and create new types. Socialize the new types with user and help for the user adoption.
  • Experience with AAv2 and create solutions for various needs like Integrations etc., as needed.
  • Help users to setup Compose on their desktop.
  • Strong skills in SQL. Think and create some usage SQLs that users will get benefit out of it, publish and schedule.
  • Work with Alation customer support as needed and join the troubleshooting sessions with Alation support and get a solution.
  • Demonstrate the new solution/designs to the business teams.
  • Knowledge about the Alation's core database and how to connect to the core.
  • Various methods to import dictionary in Bulk using REST APIs, OOTB way etc.
  • Hands-on experience with Rest APIs for custom solutions.
  • Hands-on experience in design, solutioning and leading the integrations that are required to be integrated with Alation using REST APIs and Python.
  • Hands-on experience in building a python wrapper to onboard a new metadata data set into Alation, that takes care of capturing the delta records etc.
  • Hands-on experience in metadata synchronization, profiling and sampling, per-object parameters etc.
  • Experience in custom extraction for the sources based on the needs.
  • Experience in designing and developing solutions to stitch the business terms to the physical layer to establish a complete business lineage in Alation.
  • Experience in setting up the home pages, customize it as per the needs and publish it.
  • Experience in onboarding policies into Alation.
