Job Description:

Compliance Analyst

Pay Rate: $26/hr-$35/hr W2 based on experience

Location: Hybrid, Chicago, IL OR Deerfield, IL, 3x/week

Duration: 6 months, contract to hire

Description/Comment: The Analyst, Technology Risk & Compliance assists with TRC activities, including WBA IT Policy, risk

practices, compliance with relevant regulatory and certification requirements, including Health Information

Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS),

and HITRUST certification requirements.

Responsibilities:

Performs analysis on portions of the Technology Risk & Compliance (TRC) programs, which

may include: global policy management, risk management, and compliance monitoring for

WBA.

Assisting in creating detailed IT control testing procedures

With supervision, works with global teams for executing TRC's Compliance programs within

WBA divisions.

Assists with remediation and risk mitigation planning, execution and oversight.

Participates in risk, control and policy assessments.

Assists with creation and distribution of reports / dashboards

Assists in maintenance of the global scope of IT assets, controls, control owners, risks, etc. that

make up the TRC program.

Supports governance processes that oversee TRC programs

Education & Experience:

Bachelors degree and at least 2 years of experience in IT Compliance, IT Audit and/or IT Security

OR High school / GED and at least 4 years of experience in IT Compliance, IT Audit and/or IT

Security

Experience establishing & maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of the

organization, in the business community & with vendors.

Knowledge of regulatory and contractual compliance such as: Payment Card Industry (PCI),

and Health Information Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)

Experience communicating conceptual and technical information both verbally (on the phone,

one-on-one, to groups) and in writing (emails, letters, reports, presentations) to various audiences

(work group, team, company management, external clients).

Experience analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive

improvement of results and find solutions

Additional Job Details: Preferred Qualifications & Interests (PQIs)

Experience working with cross-functional teams.

Knowledge of and experience with project management (for example, planning, organizing, and

managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and

objectives).

Experience working in the IT Industry and/or in a global organization

Experience working with governance tools such as Archer, Tripwire, etc.

The preferred location is Deerfield but could work downtown
