Job Details

We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Power and Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a key player in our engineering department, playing a pivotal role in the design, construction, and maintenance of our facilities. This role is permanent and offers an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of challenging and exciting projects. The Power and Controls Engineer will work closely with a team of experienced engineers and technicians to ensure the optimal performance and safety of our power and control systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
  • Direct and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
  • Operate computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks, including AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Develop and implement PLC and HMI programming for new and existing systems.
  • Prepare and study technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, and topographical maps to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with NEC, design, facilities design, construction, diagrams, AutoCAD, Revit, PLC, HMI, and programming.
  • Proven experience in the design, maintenance, and operation of power and control systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in using computer software and applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
