We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNC Programmer. This is a permanent position in our tool room, where you will play a vital role in creating and modifying programs for our CNC machines. If you are a detail-oriented professional with a passion for precision and innovation, this is the perfect opportunity for you. You will be working in a fast-paced, using cutting-edge technology and machinery to produce high-quality products.
Responsibilities:
As a CNC Programmer, your responsibilities will include:
1. Creating and modifying CNC programs for various machines, including but not limited to, sheet metal, kiamora, moriseki, and fanuc.
2. Utilizing CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam, Surfcam, and GibbsCAM to develop and optimize machining processes.
3. Working closely with the Tool and Die team to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of programs.
4. Operating wire EDM and other CNC machines as needed.
5. Ensuring adherence to all safety and quality standards.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CNC programming.
7. Collaborating with the engineering team to develop new machining strategies and improve existing ones.
8. Providing technical support and training to machine operators and other staff as needed.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC programming, preferably in the Metal Stamping Manufacturing industry.
2. Proficiency in CAD/CAM software, including Mastercam, Surfcam, and GibbsCAM.
3. Experience with various CNC machines, including sheet metal, kiamora, moriseki, and fanuc.
4. Knowledge of Tool and Die processes.
5. Experience with wire EDM.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
8. A commitment to safety and quality.
9. The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
