  • 3D printing Engineer will be expected to have in depth knowledge of operating and maintaining advanced 3D printers, preparing digital models for printing, and post-processing printed parts.
    This role is responsible for operating and maintaining advanced equipment, developing an end to end process to meet the business requirements. Ideal candidate will manage all aspects of the 3D printing manufacturing process, from concept development to final product, and will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting advanced 3D printers and all other processes & equipment associated with the process.
    General Responsibilities:
    Operating and Maintaining 3D Metal Printers: Setting up, operating, and maintaining various types of 3D printers, ensuring they are functioning correctly and producing high-quality prints.
    Preparing Digital Models: Working with CAD software to create or modify 3D models, preparing them for printing, and optimizing print settings.
    Post-Processing Printed Parts: Cleaning, sanding, polishing, or applying finishes to 3D printed parts to achieve the desired appearance and functionality.
    Material Handling: Working with a variety of materials used in 3D printing, such as plastics, metals, ceramics, and composites, and managing their storage and usage.
    Knowledge of mechanical testing techniques like tensile testing
    Develops process validation strategy and writes and executes engineering studies and process validation protocols and summary reports (Installation Qualification, Operation Qualification,
    Performance Qualification, Computer Software Validation and Test Method Validation).
    Develops and implements manufacturing and inspection procedures.
    Leads and participates in the development and implementation of fixtures, tools and gages for production.
    Acts as a liaison to vendors with regard to contracted products, tools & fixtures, and their manufacturing

  • Knowledge of mechanical testing techniques like tensile testing

  • QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education
    Bachelor or Masters of Science Degree from accredited institution in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related degree.
