Tool Administrator
Hansen Talent Group is seeking a strong Tool Administrator to work with a growing and innovative team in the Columbia, SC. The ideal candidate has in-depth experience supporting and customizing COTS tools and scripting experience.
The Tool Administrator will be responsible for contributing to the modernization, automation, and streamlining of internal processes.
Duties:
- Serve as owner of tools, working with Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) tools to leverage their APIs to enhance health checks, automate self-healing capabilities, and explore the potential containerization
- Manages the health of a variety of tools that involve security and governance of endpoints, managing and patching endpoints, tracking software inventory, monitor network devices, discover and manage IT assets, and provide application control and encryption
- Support vendor relationships and manage digital certificates
- Analyze tools and endpoints, identifying potential ways to automate the tool and improve server operations.
- Participate in on-call rotations.
Qualifications:
- In-depth experience supporting enterprise COTS tools
- Knowledge of backend systems, APIs, and automation
- Professional hands-on experience working with Python, PowerShell, and/or BASH for automation
