Job Details

We're currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Quality Engineer to join our well-established and growing team.

Responsibilities:
As a Quality Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Conducting thorough quality control checks and inspections on all our products using a variety of inspection tools.
2. Performing root cause analysis on any non-conformances identified during the quality control process.
3. Implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address and prevent non-conformances.
4. Collaborating with machinists, programmers, and engineers to resolve any quality issues on the production floor.
5. Utilizing your strong knowledge of GD&T, blueprint reading, and machining processes to ensure that all products are manufactured to the highest possible standards.
6. Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall efficiency and quality of our production process.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you will need to meet the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Quality Engineer role preferably within a machined parts environment.
2. Proven experience with Quality Control, Root Cause Analysis, and the use of inspection tools.
3. Demonstrated ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for non-conformances.
4. Strong collaborative skills, with a proven ability to work effectively with machinists, programmers, and engineers to resolve quality issues on the floor.
5. Strong knowledge of GD&T, blueprint reading, and machining processes.
6. A degree in Engineering, or a related field, would be considered an asset.
