Payroll Analyst
Must have skills and experience:
1. Computer proficiency (Advanced Excel -- ADP GlobalView/SAP Payroll a plus).
2. Prevailing Wage and Certified Payroll compliance knowledge.
3. Strong math skills.
4. Attention to detail.
5. Collaborative mindset.
Technical Skills:
1. Compliance Knowledge: Understanding federal, state, and local payroll regulations, including prevailing wage laws like the Davis-Bacon Act.
2. Math Skills: Strong numerical skills to manage complex calculations and ensure accuracy in wage determinations.
3. Computer Proficiency: Familiarity with payroll software (e.g., ADP) and Excel for efficient data management.
4. Formula Knowledge: Understanding various Excel formulas and functions, such as VLOOKUP, SUMIF, IF STATEMENTS, etc.).
5. Data Analysis: Proficiency in using formulas for data analysis, including pivot tables and statistical functions.
6. Troubleshooting: Skills to debug and correct errors in formulas, ensuring they work as intended.
7. Excel Proficiency: Familiarity with Excel's interface and advanced features, such as conditional formatting and data validation.
Education: Prefer Associates Degree (business related degree), but would accept High School or certificate of completion, dependent upon work experience.
Experience: Prefer 3 – 5 years in payroll with Prevailing Wage and Certified Payroll experience
