We have partnered with a leading Seed & Crop Inputs company to recruit for a Sales Director to lead commercial growth across their U.S. operations.

As a Sales Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the company’s sales strategy while driving key relationships across the agriculture value chain.

Key Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness, Agriculture, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years of commercial leadership experience in the agriculture sector (e.g., crop protection, seed, AgTech, or biologicals).
  • Proven track record of building and scaling sales teams, channels, and distribution networks.
  • Deep understanding of U.S. agriculture markets and grower-dealer dynamics.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently across key U.S. territories.

Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and implement the national sales strategy, driving revenue growth across key product lines.
  • Lead and mentor a regional sales team covering multiple states and customer segments.
  • Build and maintain high-impact relationships with key accounts, distributors, ag retailers, and large growers.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and agronomy teams to align go-to-market initiatives.
  • Use market intelligence and customer feedback to inform pricing, positioning, and promotional strategy.
  • Report directly to the VP of Commercial Operations, contributing to executive-level planning and forecasting.
