Director, Key Accounts (Airlines)
Role Overview:
The Director, Key Accounts is a strategic sales leader responsible for overseeing and growing relationships with AMI Group’s most valuable accounts. This role involves managing a team, driving revenue growth, and ensuring seamless customer experiences. The Director will lead high-profile negotiations, collaborate cross-functionally to optimize product offerings, and work closely with suppliers and internal teams to exceed customer expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Lead and mentor a team of account managers, providing guidance on client engagement and sales strategies.
- Own high-level customer relationships, ensuring long-term partnership success.
- Oversee sales forecasts, market analysis, and performance reporting to drive data-driven decisions.
- Lead responses to complex RFPs and contract negotiations with key stakeholders.
- Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and expand business with new customers.
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, finance, product development) to optimize service delivery.
- Represent AMI Group at trade shows, industry events, and customer site visits.
- Develop and implement sales strategies in alignment with company objectives.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 7+ years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing key accounts.
- Deep understanding of food, beverage, and/or travel industry sales.
- Exceptional negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience in sales forecasting and budgeting.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or a related field (preferred).
