In order to qualify for the Chief Information Officer position, you must meet the following Executive Core Qualifications and Mandatory Technical Qualifications:

Executive Core Qualifications: Applicants seeking initial career appointment to the Senior Executive Service (SES) must submit narrative responses addressing each of the Executive Core Qualifications (ECQ).   • MTQ 2: Skill in planning, development, and oversight of enterprise-wide strategies, strategic and tactical IT plans, service delivery, Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC), implementing technology business management (TBM), agile program management, demand management, system and infrastructure modernization programs for large, diverse organizations.
  • MTQ 3: Experience providing excellent customer service for large, regulatory, diverse and complex organizations; and consultation with various stakeholders and constituencies requiring management of strategic and competing objectives.

Additional information

Location will be in a non-detained Immigration Court in the continental United States.

Conditions of Employment: Only U.S. Citizens or Nationals are eligible for employment with the Executive Office for Immigration Review. Dual citizens of the U.S. and another country will be considered on a case-by-case basis. All DOJ applicants, both U.S. citizens and non-citizens, whose job location is with the U.S., must meet the residency requirement.
