Overview

  • We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior / Lead Data Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure data accuracy, reliability, and consistency while collaborating with stakeholders to enhance data quality processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Data Quality (DQ) checks and rules to ensure accurate and consistent data.
  • Conduct data profiling to analyze sources, identify anomalies, and track historical trends.
  • Monitor and validate data quality results, identifying spikes or drops in key metrics (KPIs).
  • Define and maintain thresholds to flag anomalies in KPIs.

Required Skills & Expertise

  • SQL expertise for querying, data analysis, and validation.
  • Python programming skills for automation and data manipulation.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake for data processing and storage.
  • Strong analytical skills to detect and resolve data issues.

Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills

  • Experience with Spark for big data processing.
  • Familiarity with Airflow for workflow orchestration.
  • Knowledge of Looker or similar BI tools for data visualization.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in Data Quality, Data Profiling, SQL, and Data Analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with business and technical teams.
