
Business Operations and Community Recreation Officer NF-05
- Through subordinate activity managers, is responsible for overall management and direction of the Directorate, Family and Morale Welfare and Recreation (DFMWR) Business Division at a large garrison, to include most of the following activities:
- Clubs, Food and Beverage, Entertainment, Golf, Mobile Snack Facilities, Public-Private Venture, contracted business operations and Lodging Operations. May coordinate with officials responsible for AAFES.
- Responsible for overall management of fiscal resources and direction of the DFMWR Community Recreation Division at a large garrison, to include most of the following programs:
- Sports, Fitness and Aquatics, Auto Skills, Parks and Picnic Areas, Entertainment, Community Activity Centers, Outdoor Recreation, Leisure Travel, Installation-wide Events, and non-facility-based programs.
- Provides leadership and supervision, and communicates mission and organization goals to subordinates, may act as Post-Restaurant Fund and Civilian Welfare Custodian. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Work experience directing/managing one or more Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation Programs for a garrison, or similar civilian operation, for at least one year
- Possess at least five (5) years experience in multiple FMWR type programs.
- Possess at least five (5) years of experience managing a food & beverage operations
- Possess at least five (5) years experience managing NAF business and recreation programs.
- Possess at least five (5) years of Financial management experience controlling costs, analyzing financial information, formulating and executing APF and NAF budgets.
- Contracting Officer Representative (COR) Training and Experience.

When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday).
- Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. When authorized, night differential will be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600.
- Incentives will not be paid.
- Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
