This role sits in the Commercial organization within Technology & Digital for Disney Experiences. The Systems Engineer will report to the Manager, Technology.

This role sits in the Commercial organization within Technology & Digital for Disney Experiences. The Systems Engineer will report to the Manager, Technology.
What You'll Do:
- Design, analyze, evaluate, test, debug and implement applications supporting company business processes and operations
- Plan, conduct, and direct the analysis of business problems to be solved with automated systems
- Contribute to the development, testing, evaluation or design of system architecture used throughout the DX Technology ecosystem
- Support the design, analysis, and implementation of Technology investments supporting Commercial initiatives
- Assist in triaging and facilitating product defect resolution in all environments spanning multiple applications and service layers
- Monitor booking systems through tools such as Splunk to ensure that errors are minimized and capabilities delivered are working as expected
- Assisting with new product build architecture, capabilities, and delivery methods and the impacts to core applications cross-functionally
- You will be expected to stay up to date with emerging technologies
- Minimum 3 years of related work experience
- Technical experience in consumer and employee facing enterprise systems
- Ability to troubleshoot applications and systems
- Expertise in maintaining web, caching, and queuing technologies in large high traffic environments.
- Expertise in architecting highly scalable and highly available systems
- Comfortable working in an agile environment
- Proactive demeanor towards continuous learning and skill development, and an interest in mastering emerging data engineering tools and methodologies
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience
