Role: Relativity Server Administrator

Location: Dallas, TX

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Relativity Server Administrator & Level 3 Support Engineer. You will be responsible for the end-to-end administration of Relativity Server infrastructure and act as the technical escalation point for advanced troubleshooting and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer, configure, and maintain Relativity Server (on-premise) environments including web, agent, SQL, and file servers.
  • Monitor system health and performance using tools such as SQL Profiler, Relativity Analytics Monitoring, and Windows Event Logs.
  • Handle Level 3 support escalations from internal and external teams, including complex data processing, integration issues, and system-level troubleshooting.
  • Patch and upgrade Relativity environments in compliance with security and compliance policies.
  • Collaborate with InfoSec, DevOps, and Product teams to ensure secure, scalable, and stable environments.
  • Perform backup and disaster recovery planning and testing for Relativity infrastructure.
  • Analyze performance bottlenecks and propose/implement solutions for SQL Server optimization.
  • Manage and monitor agent queues, distributed processing environments, and structured analytics components.
  • Create and maintain documentation for architecture, procedures, and knowledge base articles.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working in litigation support, eDiscovery, or legal technology environments is a strong plus.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Relativity Server administration (Relativity Certified Administrator certification preferred).
  • Strong understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, IIS, and SQL Server (2016/2019).
  • Experience with Relativity Analytics, Structured Analytics Sets, and Processing workflows.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting performance and stability issues in Relativity environments.
  • Familiarity with Relativity Integration Points, ARM, and RDC.
  • Proficient with PowerShell scripting and other automation tools.
  • Understanding of networking, load balancing, storage systems, and cloud/on-prem hybrid environments.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of kCura APIs and custom script execution.
  • Experience with ElasticSearch, Kubernetes, or containerization is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices and working within a ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
