We are seeking a dynamic, highly skilled, and passionate Engineering Project Lead to join our manufacturing team. As an Engineering Project Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving our manufacturing processes forward, implementing innovative solutions, and maintaining high standards of efficiency and quality. This role is perfect for a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of capital project management including a variety of technical scopes (powder blending and transport, HVAC, liquid processing, packaging, robotics, and various engineering design documentation).
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage capital projects from concept to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet all quality standards.
2. Oversee the design and implementation of powder blending and transport systems, HVAC, liquid processing, packaging, and robotics.
3. Develop and review specifications, drawings, flowcharts, sketches, schematics, and other engineering design documentation.
4. Utilize methodologies such as 6 Sigma, LEAN, Kaizen, 5S, and root cause analysis to improve operational efficiency and eliminate waste.
5. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives align with overall business goals.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
7. Ensure all projects comply with safety regulations and environmental standards.
8. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and other team members.
9. Continuously monitor and report on project progress to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in capital project management within the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience with powder blending and transport, HVAC, liquid processing, packaging, robotics, and engineering design documentation.
4. Proficient in using project management tools and methodologies, such as 6 Sigma, LEAN, Kaizen, 5S, and root cause analysis.
5. PMP certification is highly preferred.
6. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of the organization.
9. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
