Job Description:

Piper Companies is currently seeking a skilled Contract Administrator to join a groundbreaking financial solutions team in a hybrid capacity in Baltimore, MD or Norfolk, VA.

Responsibilities for Contract Administrator include:
  • Supervises and administers the construction phase for various projects.
  • Leads Construction Administration tasks, ensuring adherence to construction documents.
  • Develops project protocols, addresses issues, reviews budgets, and certifies requirements.
  • Initiates document updates, project evaluations, and processes change orders.
  • Collects and disseminates test reports.
  • Reviews, interprets, and responds to all types of construction documents.
  • Serve as the Prime Consultant by overseeing sub-consultants, leading construction meetings, and representing the owner.
  • Assist in the Commissioning process through observation and troubleshooting.

Qualifications for Contract Administrator include:
  • 5+ years' experience of construction administration experience
  • Licensure or tradesmen accreditation within any related CSI Division preferred
  • Must be able to inspect all areas of a job site in all types of weather; this may include walking, climbing, reaching, bending, and or lifting.
  • May require travel.

Compensation for the Contract Administrator includes:
  • Salary Range: $100,000- $120,000 **depending on experience*
  • Full Benefits: Hybrid environment, Healthcare, Dental, Vision, 401k, Paid Time Off, and Sick Leave (if required by law)
  • Cell and Mileage reimbursement
