Looking for an audio test engineer who can support a consumer HW lab focused on wearable technologies.
Required:
5+ years of experience working in audio testing of consumer products in an R&D environment.
Solid understanding of test methodologies of device subsystems.
Experience running electroacoustic measurements using a variety of tools Audio Precision, Soundcheck, or similar.
Experience of using basic electronic measurements tools - multimeter and oscilloscope.
Experience with fast-paced prototyping and validation.
Experience with basic signal processing tools like Audacity.
End-to-end knowledge of audio signal chains for consumer electronics.
Experience with acoustic transducers & signal processing fundamentals.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and drive testing with little guidance.
Create test plans for new products and features ensuring there is adequate test coverage.
Troubleshoot any problems down to the root cause and provide bug reports.
Experience with acoustic audio testing on HW (speakers and microphones).
Formulate test strategies, design test cases, create automated test scripts for testing new prototypes.
Experience testing audio product acoustics.
Pluses:
Experience with Python, C/C++, and Linux Operating System.
