Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day maintenance and operations of Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS), ensuring system stability, performance, and compliance with state and federal requirements
  • Manage software updates, defect resolution, and system enhancements by coordinating across development, infrastructure, and database teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery
  • Apply systems integration knowledge and IT infrastructure expertise to proactively identify and resolve operational issues, ensuring continuity of services for Medicaid stakeholders
  • Lead and mentor technical staff, providing direction on support processes, change management, and adherence to industry best practices and methodologies for software development and system operations

Qualifications:

  • Must have at minimum: four (4) years systems integration knowledge, software development processes and methodologies, knowledge of IT infrastructure, and managing databases
  • Experience working in IT, preferably with management duties
  • Experience with state Medicaid maintenance and operations processes and expectations is preferred
