We are looking for a Senior Java Developer who is passionate about building scalable, high-performance backend systems. This role is strictly backend-focused, and does not require any frontend experience. You'll work on designing and developing robust APIs, microservices, and backend components that drive our core platform and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs using Java (preferably Java 11+).
- Implement microservices architecture and ensure clean separation of concerns.
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and security.
- Collaborate with DevOps, QA, Product Managers, and other backend engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and contribute to best practices.
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure software quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on backend development experience with Java.
- Deep understanding of Spring Framework, especially Spring Boot.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and HTTP protocols.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Experience with message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ is a plus.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and working with CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of design patterns, clean code principles, and software architecture.
- Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
