
Techno-Functional Consultant PeopleSoft FSCM
DTS is looking for PeopleSoft Techno Functional for our client position
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Techno-Functional Consultant to support and enhance PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain (FSCM) applications. This role focuses on production support, issue resolution, minor enhancements, and collaboration with business and IT teams. The consultant will triage and resolve incidents and service requests, conduct root cause analyses, and implement solutions using PeopleTools.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience across core FSCM modules and ITSM tools, operate well under SLAs, and possess strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Triage and resolve service requests based on workflow in the ticketing system
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for PeopleSoft FSCM per SLA targets (response/resolution)
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production, integration, and batch issues
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes
- Develop and implement bug fixes and enhancements using PeopleTools (App Designer, AE, PeopleCode, SQR, SQL, IB, etc.)
- Provide daily support for: General Ledger, AR, Billing, AP, Purchasing, Inventory, Cash Management, Commitment Control, Projects, and Grants
- Collaborate with Service Delivery and Engagement Managers on ticket and incident updates
- Apply best practices in business requirement assessment and solution design
- Act as a trusted advisor to business and IT stakeholders
- Partner with DBAs, PS Admins, and vendors to drive resolution and success
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 8 years supporting PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain (FSCM)
- Proven experience in SLA-driven support environments
- Deep understanding of business processes across Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, and Record to Report
- Hands-on proficiency in PeopleTools suite (Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQR, SQL, Integration Broker)
- Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Remedy, or JIRA
- Strong incident and ticket lifecycle communication
- Effective stakeholder engagement and expectation management
- Proactive problem solver with ownership mindset
