As an Outreach Leader, you'll be the face of Bluebikes, promoting memberships, registering new members, and educating Boston area residents about the transformative power of bike sharing. Key Aspects of Position: Be a friendly and enthusiastic ambassador for the Bluebikes brand at various events and locations, like Bluebikes stations, community gatherings, organized rides, and special events around the Boston area. Work together with the Bluebikes Outreach Team to create fun and successful events, encouraging everyone to join in and register. Help make Bluebikes a well-loved and recognized part of the community, making biking easy and enjoyable for all. Lend a helping hand to community members signing up for income eligible programs including Boston Bikes Pass, offering support and guidance with a smile. Lead fun and informative demonstrations on using the kiosk, app, and Bluebikes key, and take interested folks on short bike rides to share the joy of cycling. Capture the best moments and feedback from events, keeping everything organized and running smoothly. Show off the cool features of Bluebikes bikes and how easy it is to check them in and out, making cycling an exciting choice for everyone. Be flexible and ready to work some evenings and weekends, making each event a rewarding experience. Jump in and help with other tasks as needed, always with a positive attitude.

Requirements
Required Skills and Experience:

18 years of age or older Must live in the Bluebikes service area or comfortable traveling to various area in the Boston Metro area Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, bending, stooping, standing long hours, and lifting up to 50 pounds

Can communicate effectively with people of all ages, abilities, cultural groups, economic statuses, sexual orientations, and disabilities. Comfortable speaking with strangers and in public Outgoing and energetic

Ability and comfort in riding a Bluebikes bike Works well in a team and fosters team spirit Prompt and Punctual Ability to take direction and to learn basic facts about the Bluebikes system Self-starter, able to work effectively and reliably with minimal supervision Good at solving problems, thinking creatively, and self-motivation

Attention to detail, strong customer service skills including telephone support Proven capabilities to lead and manage people and processes in a dynamic changing environment
