Position Name: Cybersecurity - Basic

Anticipated Start Date: 5/21/2025

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Roles and Responsibilities:

• The desired candidate will have 5 or more years of experience in IT with a focus on Cybersecurity or networking preferred.
• Strong technical, communication, and problem-solving skills with an ability to learn quickly and follow processes but also perform some independent troubleshooting.
• The individual will review network connectivity requests for data center migrations and work closely with clients to understand their requests, prioritize them, and establish secure connections in line with firm-wide policy.

Job Family Description:

• Understanding of operations practices, risk management processes, principles, architectural requirements, and threats and vulnerabilities in the context of Cybersecurity as well as incident response handling methodologies.
• Familiarity with national and international laws, regulations, policies, and ethics as they relate to Cybersecurity, specifically in the financial industry.
• Proficient in their field and a skilled and productive user of related tools; keeps technical skills current, participates in multiple forums.
• Understanding of Agile, with the ability to work under at least one of the common frameworks.
• Supports the analysis of vulnerabilities, threats, designs, procedures, and architectural design with the ability to gather information logically, produce reports, and share intelligence.
• Compliance required for local, country, and/or region-specific standards for credentials, certifications, and/or training.

Skills:

• Communications: Intermediate (5-6 years), Currently Using
• Network Engineer: Novice (3-4 years), Within 2 Years
• Data Analysis: Intermediate (5-6 years), Currently Using
• MS Excel: Intermediate (5-6 years), Within 6 Months
• Project Management: Intermediate (5-6 years), Within 6 Months
