Job Title: Construction Cost Estimator – Healthcare & K–12
Location: Tampa, FL
Salary Range: $85,000 – $105,000 (based on experience)
Type: Full-Time
About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled Construction Cost Estimator to support our healthcare and K–12 projects across Tampa. You’ll be responsible for accurate take-offs, budgeting, and pricing, collaborating with the project team to ensure cost efficiency from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for healthcare and educational builds
- Review drawings, specs, and bid documents
- Analyze material, labor, and subcontractor costs
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers
- Maintain cost data and support value engineering efforts
What You’ll Need
- 3–5+ years of estimating experience (healthcare/K–12 preferred)
- Strong skills in PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or similar tools
- Solid understanding of commercial construction methods and codes
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- Excellent attention to detail and communication
