Regional Sales Manager
Job Title: Regional Sales Manager – Commercial Lighting & Building Automation
Territory: Southeast U.S. (Remote with Travel)
Reports to: VP of Sales
About the Role:
We’re looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to drive commercial growth across the Southeast. This role is ideal for someone who’s well-versed in hospitality, building automation, lighting, and energy efficiency. You’ll lead business development efforts, manage client relationships, scope and estimate projects, and help bring smart building solutions to life.
What You’ll Do:
- Grow sales in your region by identifying new opportunities and closing deals
- Build a steady pipeline through direct outreach, networking, referrals, and events
- Review construction documents to develop scopes and prepare detailed estimates
- Deliver tailored proposals covering materials, labor, and total project costs
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners
- Maintain sales activity in Salesforce and report regularly on forecasting
- Represent the company at trade shows, client meetings, and industry events
- Strengthen vendor and contractor relationships within your territory
- Offer feedback to improve sales processes and GTM strategy
What You’ll Bring:
- 5+ years of sales experience in the hospitality sector
- 5+ years selling building automation, lighting controls, HVAC controls, or IoT-based building tech
- Strong track record in estimating and bidding on commercial or hospitality projects
- Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Comfortable reading construction documents and working with design specs
- Skilled with Salesforce and Microsoft Office tools
- Willing to travel throughout the Southeast U.S. (valid driver’s license required)
- Bonus if you’ve worked with InnCom, Telkonet, Lutron MyRoom, Control4, Crestron, or BACnet systems
