Testing Specialist
Day-to-Day responsibilities for this role:
- Need a strong project manager who is well organize and can steer a team of people in setting up, performing, and completing testing. This person will spend the first half with the business to identify test cases needed and if they are up to date.
- Need to be able to track project milestones and report to Initiative leads and team on daily and weekly summaries.
- Creating Test Plans.
- Review Testing Requirements with Business Team.
- Creating and Mapping of Testing Requirements in Xray.
- Creating of Test Case in Xray Test Plan.
- Creating Project Test Lab in Xray with information of responsible tester in conjunction with Project Lead.
- Working with Project Lead to develop appropriate test strategies.
- Ensuring Testing Integrity [Audit Trail] & answer all AL/Xray Questions.
- Publishing testing progress and Defect status reports to respective team members and Stake Holders.
- Conducting Defect triage meeting during test execution.
- Scheduling and Conducting testing as per three eye principle.
- Reviewing AS-IS and Creating TO-BE Business Process Models using ARIS Modelling Tool.
- Developed MS Excel Marco reports to extract data from ALM/Xray.
- Need to coordinate with off-shore teams and subject matter experts
- Assist with test environment and data management.
Must Have:
- Need to be familiar with using automated testing. Xray is required
- Need to have experience interacting with the business.
- Test planning and leading execution of formal test plans is required.
Nice to have:
- ALM experience preferred, Agile working model is preferred, SAP experience would be preferred as well. HP ALM reporting experience would be preferred.
- A candidate that has a passport is a nice to have as they may need to travel to Mexico.
WFH Flexibility:
- Management discretion 80% Onsite and 20 % Remote
Travel Requirement:
- Travel may be required regionally with the team in Woodcliff Lake, NJ and/or Mexico. These requirements will, however, only be executed in a need-by-need basis
