Job Title: SAP Functional Analyst

Skills Matrix:
5-10 years of experience in SAP FI/CO/Tax as a functional consultant
Strong SAP tax reporting, regulatory reporting, FI, Controlling and Asset accounting
Experience in the area of method, process and system design for accounting, tax and controlling relevant business processes
2+ years of experience in accounting and controlling - prior to SAP experience
SAP certification preferred
Exp with preparing individual and consolidated financial statements
Good knowledge of the legal framework of accounting for US-GAAP as well as international accounting standards (IFRS)
Strong knowledge of SAP FI, BC Banking Module
Strong exp with SAP accounting and financial reporting
Exp with leeasing functionality within SAP
SAP exp w/ set up of Company Codes and Branches in SAP

Required:

• Mandatory:

• Experience as SAP Business Consultant.
• Experience in the area of method, process and system design for accounting, controlling and banking relevant business processes.

• Several years of professional experience in the fields of accounting and controlling.
• Ideally, additional training in the SAP environment (e.g. SAP certification).
• Process understanding in individual and consolidated financial statement preparation.
• Good knowledge of the legal framework of accounting for US-GAAP as well as international accounting standards (IFRS).
• Very good knowledge of SAP FI, BC Banking Module.

Responsibilities:

• Support in the rollout of a new, standardized SAP system landscape for accounting and financial reporting.
• Analysis and description of the requirements of local transactional accounting processes taking into account local accounting standards as well as the accounting processes for leasing and financing in the local companies.
• Documentation of local market processes and requirements in business requirement documents.
• Detailed analysis of local Reporting and Controlling requirements.
• Setup of Company Codes and Branches in SAP.
• Creation and design of business solutions ending up in change request towards SAP Template for Tax reporting, regulatory reporting, FI, Controlling (optional: asset accounting).
• Creation of design and technical concepts for change requests towards SAP Template, based on local market requirements for banking processes, payment file formats and integration to banking solutions.
• Coordination of local process requirements and interfaces in cooperation with IT.
• Clarification & documentation of accounting, controlling and banking processes.
