Our client, a leading global consumer robot company, is looking for someone to join their team as a Consumer Research & Insights Manager. This role is fully remote.

*This is a 6 month W2 contract with benefits*

In this role, you will be leading initiatives to identify emerging consumer behaviors and trends using various research methods to uncover unmet needs and new opportunities for product development and market differentiation.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Lead consumer research to understand evolving preferences, pain points, and needs
  • Understand the current and potential consumer target and translate insights into actionable recommendations that influence new product designs, marketing campaigns, and overall business strategies
  • Monitor the competitive landscape, identifying trends, competitor activities, and market shifts that may affect consumer behavior
  • Partner with key business stakeholders; including product managers, designers, R&D and the marketing team to understand business questions, design research programs and share insightful learning that advocates for the consumer

Required Skills & Experience

  • 7 + years of experience in consumer insights, market research, or related fields
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in consumer facing product or service industry
  • Proficiency with analysis tools (e.g., Python, Tableau etc.) and expert at using survey platforms (e.g. Qualtrics).
  • Familiarity with POS data sources eg. Circana/ Nielsen
  • Experience in technology, robotics, direct to consumer (DTC), ecommerce or other innovation oriented industries
