The Conductive Education Center of Orlando (CECO) provides specialized programs for individuals with neurological motor disabilities such as Cerebral Palsy. We combine physical, cognitive, and social skill development to empower participants of all ages to reach their full potential and live more independently.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and mission-driven Events & Engagement Coordinator to lead the planning and execution of CECO’s signature fundraising and community engagement events. This role plays a key part in strengthening CECO’s visibility, engagement, and support across Central Florida.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage all CECO signature events, including the Night of Dreams Gala and Raymond Golf Classic
  • Coordinate CECO’s Young Professional Group and other small-scale events throughout the year
  • Oversee event logistics, vendor relations, and volunteer/staff coordination
  • Collaborate with marketing and development teams on event promotion and sponsorship packages
  • Track event performance, maintain budgets, and generate post-event reports
  • Represent CECO at outreach events and build community partnerships

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1–3 years of experience in event planning, fundraising, or nonprofit engagement
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent multitasking, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Canva and Constant Contact is a plus
  • Willingness to work occasional nights and weekends as needed
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 30 lbs
  • Background check required
