
Food and Beverage Attendant NA-02
- Sets up food service counters and steam tables Coolers with hot and cold foods and beverages. Prepares coffee and hot water for tea, specialty coffee and espresso drinks, fills beverage dispensers
- Records guests' selections and turns in orders to the kitchen. Serves food and nonalcoholic beverages. Presents bill and receives payment. Cleans tables and immediate area. Serving area.
- Prepares fruits and vegetables for cooking and serving. Makes a variety of fruit and vegetable salads. Portions out food, cleans and prepares meats and seafood for cooking
- Washes dishes, pots and pans. Empties trash and cleans and sanitizes containers.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Satisfactorily complete a minimum of 4 hours initial food sanitation and safety training within 30 days of employment and a minimum of 4 hours refresher training annually.
- Must meet state/local age requirements at the time of appointment if serving alcoholic beverages.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3 to include a medical examination.
- Incumbent may be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally controlled facilities.
- Ability to lift frequently and move items weighing up to 20 pounds. Requires constantly standing, stooping, bending, walking and reaching.

- Regular full-time, regular part-time (to include those in a limited tenure appointment category) and regularly scheduled flexible employees are entitled to Sunday premium pay when working Sunday shifts. A FWS employee will be paid a night shift differential of 7.5% for the entire shift when a majority of the employee's regularly scheduled non-overtime hours of work occur between the hours of 1500 and 2400. A FWS employee will be paid a night shift differential of 10% of the scheduled rate if a majority of the employee's regularly scheduled non-overtime hours of work occur between the hours of 2300-0800.
