The Project Manager will support the AP, Returns, Reverse Logistics and Payments operations teams reporting to senior leaders of the organization.
In this role, the project manager will focus on automation, transformations, process improvements, and operations support projects for the department. They will be responsible for creating and executing project plans from initiation to closing stages leveraging PMBOK best practices, participating in the generation and execution of stakeholder engagement and communication plans, analyzing existing business processes and driving process improvements, and leveraging leadership and influencing skills in a matrix organization and across multiple functional units. Experience should include driving all aspects of multiple projects and managing communications and expectations with the operations team, stakeholders, and senior leadership. The ability to consolidate ideas/project updates and present to executive leadership in a concise and professional manner is required. A background in business process analysis, change management and process improvement is beneficial. This position requires a collaborative and results-focused person with excellent communication and administrative skills, with the ability to prioritize competing priorities and manage stakeholders accordingly.

Role Summary:
- Project Management – ability to plan, organize, and monitor projects from initiation to closing stages to drive strategic initiatives, as well as, create and maintain project plans.
- Project reporting – status updates, meeting minutes, action tracking, reporting on project health
- Stakeholder engagement and Change Management – developing and executing on stakeholder engagement plans, communications, and training plans.
- Risk Management – assess project risks and provide mitigation strategies
- Incorporate business and stakeholder feedback to suggest modifications to project plan
- Monitor project health and perform control activities
- Adaptability and flexibility in taking on operations support duties as needed by operations
- Assist with project closing activities including leading sessions on lessons learned
Education/Training
- 4-year degree or equivalent experience
- Proven experience (at least 1 year) in a support role for an organization.
- Understanding of a finance shared services space, financial processes and the ability to ensure accuracy in reporting.
