  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Our client, a large professional services firm, is looking to hire several Senior Technical Consultants - VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) for 6-12 month contract positions. The team is looking to bring on three candidates that can work EST hours, four candidates that can work CST hours, and three candidates that can work MST/PST hours.

The Senior Technical Consultant - VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), will leverage their expertise in VMware Cloud Foundation to design, deploy, and optimize enterprise-scale hybrid cloud and data center solutions. The consultants will work closely with clients to implement VCF-based architectures that enhance automation, security, and scalability. The consultants will serve as subject matter experts, guiding project teams, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring high-quality solution delivery. This role requires a deep technical understanding of VMware's SDDC stack, integration with third-party solutions, and best practices for deployment and operations.

A minimum of 10% travel is expected.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to lead the architecture, design, and deployment of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) solutions.
  • Hands-on experience deploying, upgrading, and managing VCF on VMware Cloud on AWS, Dell VxRail, or other HCI solutions.
  • Experience overseeing deployment and configuration of SDDC Manager, vSphere, vCenter, vSAN, NSX, and Aria Suite (LCM, Operations, Network, Logs) within VCF environments.
  • Must be able to work with customers to define business and technical requirements for VCF-based private and hybrid cloud solutions.
  • Experience designing and implementing multi-site architectures, workload mobility, and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Required Certification: VMware Cloud Foundation 5.2 Architect Certification (Exam 2V0-13.24), or most recent equivalent: VMware Certified Specialist - Cloud Foundation 2024 [v2] (5V0-31.22)
  • Experience integrating VCF with third-party platforms such as storage, networking, and security solutions.
  • Ability to develop and deliver technical documentation, design documents, and best practices for VCF deployments.
  • Experience participating in pre-sales engagements, helping scope and position VCF solutions for clients.
  • Must be able to travel (minimum of 10%)

Desired Skills:

  • Industry certifications such as VCAP, VCDX, or equivalent VMware certifications are highly desirable.
