About the Opportunity

We are seeking a driven and strategic Senior Product Owner to join a newly formed internal team focused on transformative discovery initiatives. This high-impact role is part of a pivotal effort to reshape our organization s future and scale our customer reach in a meaningful way.

Your Role

As a Senior Product Owner, you'll partner closely with cross-functional leaders and key decision-makers to identify opportunities, resolve long standing challenges, and create real, measurable progress. This position is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in dynamic environments, embraces ambiguity, and is eager to tackle legacy issues with creative solutions.

You wont just be writing requirements you will be actively involved in uncovering the what and defining the how, leading collaborative sessions, surfacing user needs, and aligning on practical solutions that can be delivered efficiently. Your leadership will help lay the groundwork for scalable growth and long-term innovation.

What You ll Do

  • Craft and execute product strategies aligned with high-level organizational goals
  • Mentor product team members and contribute to the development of best practices
  • Partner with senior leadership to prioritize initiatives and shape the product vision
  • Facilitate collaboration across departments, ensuring business and technical alignment
  • Translate strategic business needs into detailed roadmaps and feature plans
  • Evaluate competing priorities and make informed trade-offs to maximize business value
  • Establish success metrics and use data to drive iteration and improvement
  • Act as the key liaison between business, compliance/legal, and technology teams
  • Author user stories, manage the team backlog, and ensure consistent prioritization
  • Use data and user feedback to guide decisions and measure product performance
  • Continuously advocate for agile improvements and process enhancements

What We re Looking For

  • 10+ years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in a product leadership role
  • Demonstrated ability to influence across departments and drive consensus
  • Strong background in delivering solutions for complex business environments
  • Experience in fast-paced or regulated industries such as insurance, consulting, or fintech preferred
  • Deep understanding of agile methodologies, backlog management, and sprint facilitation
  • Familiar with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and business analysis platforms (Excel, Visio)
  • Knowledge of SQL and reporting tools such as PowerBI or Tableau
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
