Key Responsibilities:

External Technical Documentation:

  • Create end-user documentation for TSDS, including:
  • Promotion logic guides
  • Software issue summaries
  • Release notes
  • Newsletters
  • Ensure content is accurate, accessible, and aligned with agency standards.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to gather and validate content.

Customer Outreach Support:

  • Support outreach efforts during peak data submission cycles.
  • Document and report software and data submission issues from ESCs and LEAs.
  • Share findings with leadership and Product Owners.
  • Maintain open communication with customers to identify concerns and trends.

Internal Documentation & Best Practices:

  • Research and propose improved documentation standards for Jira processes.
  • Document, implement, and train team members on new documentation workflows.
  • Create internal training materials for ongoing support.

Skill/Experience

  • Technical writing experience creating technical documentation.
  • Software documentation (release notes, technical issue tracking).
  • Jira or similar lifecycle management tool experience.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer service experience, including issue documentation.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Experience training or mentoring team members.
