Job Title: Procurement Contract Specialist – Enterprise Technology
We are looking for an experienced Procurement Contract Specialist to join a dynamic global procurement team, supporting complex sourcing and contracting activities within the enterprise technology space. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in IT procurement, particularly within the financial services sector, who thrives on strategic negotiation and regulatory alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all procurement activities align with third-party risk management and compliance standards for the financial services industry.
- Support audit readiness and respond to internal/external audits by providing process documentation and compliance evidence.
- Collaborate with legal, risk, information security, and business stakeholders to review and align contract terms with policy frameworks.
- Manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle for technology products and services, including drafting, redlining, negotiating, and finalizing agreements.
- Lead sourcing events and support RFx processes (RFPs, RFIs, RFQs) from requirements gathering through vendor award.
- Provide contractual guidance across technology categories including software, hardware, cloud, telecoms, and professional services.
- Drive strategic negotiations and secure favorable commercial terms for enterprise-wide agreements.
- Support vendor onboarding and contract governance, managing approvals through internal processes.
- Monitor contract renewals and timelines to ensure continuity of service and alignment with organizational strategy.
- Deliver governance, productivity, and quarterly progress reporting to key stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience in IT procurement within financial services; experience in telecom or engineering consultancy is a plus.
- Deep understanding of technology sourcing across infrastructure, software, networks, and professional services.
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of negotiating complex agreements including enterprise software licenses and managed services.
- Familiarity with data center procurement, including security, connectivity, and facility SLAs.
- Experience with licensing models (e.g., perpetual, subscription, floating) and vendor frameworks (e.g., Microsoft EA, global telecoms).
- Working knowledge of global third-party risk and compliance standards (e.g., OCC, EBA, MAS).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with experience collaborating across legal, risk, and technology functions.
Preferred:
- Procurement certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPM, or equivalent).
- Experience working on large-scale IT projects or global transformation programs in regulated environments.
