UL Solutions is seeking a passionate and strategic Talent Acquisition Team Lead to drive recruitment efforts across our Functional Job Families (Sales, Finance, Marketing, HR, Legal, and Administration). his hybrid role is based in Northbrook, IL, with an expectation of being onsite three days per week. With a primary focus on United States operations, this position is ideal for a dynamic and collaborative leader with deep expertise in talent acquisition and a proven ability to build and manage high-performing recruitment teams.

Responsibilities:

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead & Develop Talent: Manage and mentor a team of TA professionals, supporting their growth through clear development plans and feedback.
  • Drive Strategic Recruitment: Own end-to-end hiring strategies aligned with business goals and market trends, while partnering closely with senior stakeholders.
  • Enhance Candidate & Hiring Manager Experience: Ensure a smooth, engaging process from sourcing to onboarding, delivering an exceptional candidate journey.
  • Champion Sourcing & Branding: Use innovative sourcing techniques to attract top talent and promote UL’s employer brand across multiple channels.
  • Leverage Data & Improve Processes: Utilize recruitment metrics to optimize performance, ensure ATS accuracy (Oracle Recruiting Cloud), and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Lead Key Initiatives: Drive global and local talent projects
  • Stay Future-Focused: Keep ahead of talent acquisition trends, tools, and technologies to ensure continued innovation.

Qualifications:

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition
  • Minimum of 2 years leading a team of recruiters, with a focus on corporate functions
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional business leaders across regions
  • Familiarity with Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC) is a plus
  • Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills
  • Passion for innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Spanish is a plus

Total Rewards: We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. The estimated salary range for this position is $93,600 to $124,700 and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 10% of the base salary. This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. We also provide full-time employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday including floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).
