Our client is a prominent, well respected global Alternative Asset Manager currently seeking to add a talented Associate to their growing 10 person IR/Sales Team. The role focuses on investor reporting, financial analysis, marketing and communication of key messaging, and performance-related data to support the marketing and content needs of all prospective and current investors at the firm within the Private Equity/Real Estate vertical

This dynamic team seeking a highly motivated self-starter, with the ability and maturity to work within strict deadlines and handle complex investor queries.

Responsibilities

  • This role will be responsible for continuously enhancing the vision for client operations process to reflect evolving needs of firm clients
  • Partner with the Global Head of Investor Relations to manage all aspects of the Investor Relations function for firm
  • Respond to investor diligence requests and providing supporting data and materials as needed
  • Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders (Product Management, Portfolio Management, RFP/Data) to ensure we our meeting clients at their point of need.
  • Review and analyze portfolio performance data, benchmark performance and risk statistics
  • Review client quarterly reports to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Prepare detailed investment reports ensuring accurate and timely delivery of financial insights to investors including collaborating with internal finance teams to provide data driven support and content for investor relations activities
  • Work with all levels of team members across the organization to help ensure the integrity and consistency of portfolio data reported across client reporting systems
  • Maintain client relationship management database and providing reports to Directors on a regular basis
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance the strategic reporting platform by gathering and analyzing field feedback and collaborating with partners across the organization
  • Provide various ad hoc data research and analysis as needed.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 2+ years of investor relations, finance, transaction services, investment operations, strategy, management consulting, investment banking or other asset management related experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Modeling Formulas
  • BS/BA in Finance, Accounting or Economics (or similar) required.
  • Ability to create concise and accurate presentation of investor communications.
  • Technical knowledge, data analytics using CRMs (Salesforce), Excel, PowerPoint
  • Outstanding communication skills, proven ability to effectively work with all levels of Management
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dead-line driven dynamic environment
  • Innovative and creative thinker
  • Must be detail oriented
