- Childrensministry.com – Select, schedule, and revise articles and resource downloads for childrensministry.com and its weekly newsletter, collaborating with the Marketing Team and assigning new content creation when necessary.
- Curricula Revisions – Oversee updates for curriculum materials. Updates include adding new item numbers, working with Supply Chain to confirm materials’ availability, updating media titles when necessary, and checking for overall text improvements. Ensures quarterly kits are complete, accurate and on schedule.
- Product Development – Support Assistant Editorial teammate in copyediting and proofing tasks as needed.
- Company Communication – Support company-wide written communication as needed, ensuring messaging and data is clear, correct, and consistent.
- Group Style – Reference and maintain Group’s stylebook and stay up to date with AP style and publishing best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in a field such as English, Journalism, or Communication is desired
- 1+ years experience copyediting or proofreading
- Excellent administrative and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and communication
- Experience in and knowledge of church ministry is desired
- Proficient in Microsoft Word. Knowledge of InCopy or InDesign is desired
- Knowledge of AP Style is helpful
