POSITION SUMMARY:

We’re looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our growing marketing team and help bring retail and brand campaigns to life across digital and in-store channels. This role is ideal for someone with 2-3 years of marketing experience who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and support the planning and execution of paid and organic social media, email marketing, and in-store promotions. The right candidate is digitally savvy, highly organized, and excited to help manage content calendars, collaborate with external vendors, and contribute to campaign strategy that drives traffic, engagement, and brand visibility.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

  • Assist in the planning, creation and execution of marketing campaigns and retail strategies that aligns with and drives engagement for our mission and organizational objectives
  • Lead day-to-day execution of organic and paid social media campaigns — from content creation to scheduling and performance reporting.
  • Draft and deploy engaging email marketing campaigns, including promotions, newsletters, and targeted communications to segmented lists.
  • Coordinate in-store marketing efforts, including promotional events, signage, and visual merchandising materials.
  • Maintain detailed marketing calendar to ensure alignment across all platforms and departments with attention to key cultural moments and observances (e.g. Earth Month, Disability Employment Awareness, and holiday shopping seasons)
  • Work closely with retail on store location management, including store information listings and customer feedback across all platforms.
  • Assist in drafting press releases, maintaining press lists, and coordinating outreach to media outlets.
  • Monitor campaign analytics and provide regular reports to inform and adjust strategy.
  • Manage and update the marketing intranet, ensuring it is a reliable resource for internal communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and branding across all marketing efforts.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, such as printers, designers, and consultants, to support marketing projects that adhere to budget and brand guidelines
  • Support other marketing initiatives as needed, contributing to the team’s goals and organizational objectives.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a marketing or communications role; retail marketing exper ie nce a bonus
  • Excellent communication skills including writing and editing to be concise and effective
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms
    • e.g., Google Analytics, social media management tools, CRM systems and email marketing platforms such as Constant Contact
  • Strong organizational, project and time management skills; meticulous eye for detail and working across multiple projects
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Basic graphic design skills a bonus; experience in Canva and/or Adobe Design Suite
  • Ability to travel throughout the Goodwill service area
  • Enthusiasm for the mission of Goodwill
