Job Description:

Senior ServiceNow Solution Architect (ITOM)- Part Time

Location: Remote

Shift: Part Time (12 hours a week)

Duration: 12 weeks

Rate: Negotiable

Key Responsibilities:
  • ServiceNow CMDB Health:
    • Analyze the CMDB/AMDB, document findings, and identify improvement opportunities.
    • Document recommendations in agile story format to be included in the Customer backlog.
    • Support remediation activities on identified areas as required.
  • Forescout Integration:
    • Prepare ServiceNow CMDB/AMDB for integration with the Forescout eyeExtend module.
    • Install and configure Forescout eyeExtend to continuously maintain the CMDB/AMDB.
  • Client Device Order Management:
    • Assess and streamline processes for the current state of the ServiceNow ITSM module to ensure system prerequisites are fit for purpose.
    • Implement and enhance device order components (request form, catalog) and workflow for approval with CMDB/AMDB reconciliation.

    Typical Responsibilities:
    • Provides overall leadership to bridge the gap between business requirements and technological capabilities, ensuring that ServiceNow solutions align with the program objectives.
    • Provide technical leadership to agile team ensuring the scalability, flexibility, consistency, and security of the technical solution.
    • Oversee development and operation of all implementation phases ensuring alignment of business requirements to the technical solution.
    • Customize system components (workflows, scripts) to meet business needs.
    • Identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring timely communication with stakeholders.
    • Performs knowledge transfer to platform team for custom solutions.
    • Facilitates workshops to ensure the target solution aligns with ServiceNow processes, teams, and business goals.
    • Assists the project team in translating application functionality into application architecture and providing guidance on best practices for maintaining a balance of business functionality requirements with practical constraints.
    • Assists in breaking down documented requirements into epics and developing user stories and acceptance criteria.

    Qualifications:
    • Proven experience with ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM modules.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Experience with CMDB/AMDB analysis and integration.
    • Familiarity with Forescout eyeExtend module.
    • Ability to document findings and recommendations in agile story format.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

    Preferred Skills:
    • Experience in client device order management and workflow implementation.
    • Knowledge of best practices for maintaining CMDB/AMDB health.
    • Ability to support remediation activities and streamline processes.
