We are offering a contract-to-permanent employment opportunity for a skilled Application Support Analyst in West Palm Beach, Florida. You will be playing a crucial role in managing mission-critical systems that support public safety operations. Your role will encompass troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving several key applications.

Responsibilities:

Efficiently handling technical support and troubleshooting for essential applications including CAD (911 system), CentralSquare, and other departmental software platforms.

Ensuring the optimal performance and functionality of public safety systems.

Serving as the bridge between IT, software vendors, and end users to promptly and efficiently resolve system issues.

Proactively monitoring system performance, identifying trends, and addressing potential issues to reduce downtime.

Maintaining up-to-date documentation on support processes, issue resolutions, and user training materials.

Regularly conducting system testing, updates, and patch management.

Imparting training and guidance to end users for the appropriate usage of supported systems.

Working closely with stakeholders to gather feedback and implement process improvements based on user needs and operational demands.

Ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with public safety regulations and policies.

Utilizing skills in Cisco Technologies, Citrix Technologies, Cloud Technologies, Dell Technologies, Firewall Technologies, Active Directory, Backup Technologies, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, Customer Service, Computer Aided Dispatch, Central Square.

Requirements

Proficiency in Cisco Technologies is required.
Knowledge and experience with Citrix Technologies is essential.
Familiarity with Cloud Technologies is necessary.
Expertise in Dell Technologies is a must.
Understanding of Firewall Technologies is crucial.
Proficiency in Active Directory is necessary.
Experience with Backup Technologies is important.
Basic understanding of Computer Hardware is required.
Familiarity with Configuration Management is necessary.
Excellent customer service skills are essential.
Experience with Computer Aided Dispatch is desirable.
