- Must meet state/local age (21) requirements at the time of appointment if serving alcoholic beverages. Certificate of Medical Examination required.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2.
- Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.
- Work is normally performed inside but will occasionally require working in walk-in cooler and freezer (37 degrees - 0 degrees). Care is required to avoid serious injury in food preparation and storage areas.

Possess math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and take inventory.
