Senior Data Engineer (Technical Product Management experience is a plus)
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage cloud data platform components (e.g., users, roles, storage, compute)
- Write and tune advanced SQL queries and automation scripts
- Contribute to data modeling, architecture decisions, and validation strategies
- Support administration of reporting tools and backend integrations
Preferred Technical Skills:
- Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
- Strong SQL and scripting skills (Python, Java, Shell)
- Exposure to BI platforms (e.g., Tableau Server, Power BI)
- Understanding of data pipeline orchestration and automation
- Familiarity with ETL tools (e.g., AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, SSIS)
Good to Have Technical Product Manager Experience:
- Lead the design and development of scalable, cloud-based data pipelines
- Optimize data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes
- Experience managing agile development or release-cycles for data products
- Ability to oversee data governance and implement mitigation strategies around data privacy, access, and security
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement and translating business needs into technical requirements
- Understanding of metadata management, quality frameworks, and risk management in data environments
