  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Description:
We are looking for a Research Science Community Manager to connect researchers testing a custom data access tool with Reddit s Product team. This role helps with collaboration, communication, and developing the tool for non-commercial research. The ideal candidate should be good at managing stakeholders, academic research, and working with technical products. This is a 6-month contract position, working 15 hours per week, with a possibility to extend.
  • 2+ years of experience with research coordination, stakeholder relations, program management, or a related role.
  • Must have experience with Google Cloud SQL and BigQuery.
  • Technical proficiency in SQL, including query optimizations.
  • Customer account management experience; ie, creating or removing access to a data research tool for researchers.
  • Experience working with academic researchers or volunteer-led organizations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex topics to varied, skeptical audiences.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in documentation and collaboration tools (e.g., Confluence, JIRA, Slack, Google Workspace, or similar).
  • Familiarity with Zendesk and Reddit.
