We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Operations to lead national and international operational performance, integrate newly acquired businesses, and enhance capabilities across all facilities. This role will champion lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and Kaizen methodologies, reporting directly to the President & COO. You will play a critical role in scaling operations, driving consistency, and fostering a culture of quality and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead integration of domestic and international acquisitions, ensuring cultural and operational alignment.
  • Support expansion projects, including new site development and modernization initiatives.
  • Drive operational consistency and performance across multi-site operations.
  • Implement and enhance lean systems, standard work practices, and conduct Kaizen events.
  • Promote quality and customer satisfaction, ensuring robust quality management systems.
  • Develop and mentor a high-performing leadership team, setting and tracking KPIs in performance, quality, safety, and financial targets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years in senior operations leadership within steel, metals, or industrial manufacturing.
  • Proven experience with multi-site integration and scaling operations nationally and internationally.
  • Deep knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
  • Strong leadership and change management skills.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
