Coordinator, Social Media
The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for creating and distributing content on 49ers and Levi’s Stadium social handles (TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat). This person will capture, create, and post short-form content with a mobile-first, social-first mindset to provide followers with exclusive content on all social channels and help grow the team’s reach domestically and internationally.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Creates content for all official team accounts, including capturing content using a phone and light video editing using in-app editing tools or Adobe Premiere.
- Collaborates and delivers on all corporate partner deliverables in social channels, both during game days and during non-game days.
- Drives ticket sales through the publishing of targeted sales campaigns.
- Develops social copy to help drive clicks and engagements on 49ers, 49ers Community, and Levi’s Stadium handles (TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, & Snapchat).
- Manages social inboxes (inbound private messages) and elevates actionable comments and mentions to the appropriate parties.
- Labels and tags all partnered content within social publishing tool for monthly reporting and content recommendations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Abilities and Skills:
- Able to communicate confidently and competently to all types of audiences within a variety of delivery methods.
- Organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively, while balancing and prioritizing multiple or competing tasks.
- Judgement and decision making are essential for this role; process information in a fast-paced environment and stay calm under pressure
- Understanding of NFL – General football acumen i.e. gameplay, players, etc.
Education and Experience:
- At least 2-4 years’ relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience managing consumer-facing social media content, ideally in the sports or entertainment industry preferred.
- Understanding of social media platforms.
- Experience with TikTok tools and effects.
- Experience using social media publishing tools (publishing & analytics i.e. Sprout Social, Social Bakers, Conviva).

The employee will be sitting in an indoor/outdoor facility the majority of the time and may be exposed to outdoor weather conditions.

The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
This position requires the ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays.
Travel:
15% of local travel time and 2% of intra and interstate travel requiring overnight stay are expected for this position.
