
Leisure Travel Manager NF-04
- Schedules, arranges, publicizes and promotes group tours for local events or regional attractions to include day trips and overnight accommodations with bus, rail or private transportation options.
- Sells travel through any of the available booking services provided by the Joint Services Travel Program, Department of the Army Military Travel Voucher, Armed Forces Vacation Club and individual vendors.
- Services provided encompass group and individual reservations, hosted tours, vacation packages, air, rail, lodging, cruises, car rentals etc.
- Assists customers organizing group travel, coordinates transportation, lodging meals, tour guides, attractions etc., in response to requests. Accommodates group needs at the lowest cost per individual with a reasonable commission to the LTS.
- Supervises a small to moderate size work operation involving one or more employees engaged in customer service transactions or other assigned tasks
- Establishes operating procedures, work hours and prepares work schedules. reviews, evaluates, and approves employee leave. Prepares an annual operating budget for the overall LTS program.

Qualifications
Must have well-developed computer, organizational, time management, prioritization and writing abilities, with an aptitude for learning new skills.
Demonstrated knowledge of PC computer programs including Microsoft, Excel and PowerPoint required. Knowledge of PhotoShop desired. Knowledge with proprietary property management systems Rec Trac and ACRROS for tracking and internal control is desirable.
One year specialized travel industry sales experience required with a background in military sales and marketing highly desired.

When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday).
