The Chief Alliance Officer (CAO) holds executive responsibility for the strategic direction, management, and expansion of the firm’s alliance with Databricks.   • Formulate, implement, and oversee the long-term alliance strategy with Databricks, ensuring alignment with corporate vision and business goals.
  • Establish governance frameworks for managing the alliance, including executive steering committees and regular strategic reviews.
  • Serve as the executive sponsor for the partnership, nurturing high-level relationships with key stakeholders at Databricks.

Joint Business Development and Market Expansion:

  • Design and execute joint go-to-market (GTM) programs and campaigns to drive customer acquisition and market penetration.
  • Facilitate joint pipeline development, co-selling activities, and opportunity management.
  • Identify and develop strategic business opportunities that leverage the Databricks Lakehouse Platform to deliver high-impact client solutions.

Solution Innovation and Technical Alignment:

  • Guide the development of integrated solutions that combine the firm’s analytics, data engineering, and AI/ML capabilities with Databricks technology.
  • Oversee technical alignment and joint certifications to ensure delivery excellence and thought leadership.
  • Promote continuous innovation through collaboration on product roadmaps, proof-of-concepts, and solution accelerators.

Partner Ecosystem Engagement:

  • Build and sustain strategic relationships across the Databricks partner ecosystem, including cloud hyperscalers and complementary technology providers.
  • Represent the firm in partner councils, advisory boards, and industry events to enhance visibility and thought leadership.

Operational Excellence and Performance Measurement:

  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics to evaluate the impact and effectiveness of the alliance.
  • Maintain a structured cadence of reporting and performance reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure operational readiness and alignment across sales, marketing, delivery, and partner management functions.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience in strategic alliances, business development, or partner management within a technology or professional services environment.
  • Demonstrated success in managing high-value alliances, preferably with data platform providers such as Databricks, Snowflake, or AWS.
  • Deep expertise in cloud architecture, data analytics, and machine learning applications.
  • Strong executive presence with exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a related field is required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Desirable Experience:

  • Direct experience working with or within Databricks.
