React Developer
Our client is seeking a skilled React Developer to join their team and support ongoing development efforts during a key transitional period.
This role is onsite in Portland, Oregon.
React Developer Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of user-facing features using React.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration and performance.
- Assist with understanding and maintaining legacy systems written in VB as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the application stack.
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code with an emphasis on performance and reliability.
React Developer Qualifications:
- 4+ years of professional experience developing front-end applications using React.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3; familiarity with TypeScript is a plus.
- Ability to read, debug, and make updates to legacy code written in Visual Basic.
- Experience integrating with APIs (RESTful or GraphQL) and working with backend developers.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Understanding of modern software development practices, including agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially when working with undocumented or legacy systems.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, transitional environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
