This role is vital to achieving the agency’s goal of building a scalable, performance-driven data infrastructure to support data-driven decisions.

The ideal candidate has 8 or more years of experience, demonstrates strong independent judgment, excels in complex technical environments, and thrives within agile teams. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead or contribute as a senior analyst within an Agile development team.
  • Analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and define functional and technical requirements.
  • Participate in full SDLC: requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Develop complex Oracle/Snowflake SQL scripts and Informatica PowerCenter/IICS workflows for ETL automation.
  • Design, implement, and maintain integrations across diverse data sources including Oracle, SQL Server, Access, Excel, Adobe PDF, and others.
  • Coordinate closely with Product Owners, Developers, and Data Engineers to create user stories, epics, and solution mockups.
  • Perform post-deployment validation and support operational enhancements.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and propose scalable solutions.
  • Support infrastructure configuration, DevOps CI/CD pipelines, and SAS Viya environments.
  • Maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and process flows using tools like Visio and Erwin.
  • Implement best practices in security, performance tuning, and compliance, particularly with healthcare data.
